Lesson contains an AIM, learning objective, anticipation guide as a Do Now, teacher model/mini-lesson, guided practice, and two differentiated graphic organizers that help students to make inferences.
This lesson can be differentiated three ways:
Some students have the textual evidence provided so that they can make inferences.
Some students are provided the inference, and must go back into the text to find the appropriate matching evidence.
To make this even more challenging, have more advanced students complete the graphic organizer without any supports.
