Are your students wild about Harry? Whether you teach a whole unit or have students who are reading the series independently, here are more than 30 fabulous activities designed to extend meaning and differentiate assessment. Use them alone or have students pick one or two in addition to a more traditional book report. Most of these ideas are also suitable for group projects. Projects vary from written products and oral presentations to 3-D models to music and more. Some of these projects could be assigned over the course of a unit; others could be adapted to be completed in a single class period. Some could even be used as short answer or essay questions on a test.
