Product Description
I read the first Harry Potter book with my gifted and talented class. As an introduction we read an article on what makes a good fantasy book so most of the activities tie back to that. These are 5 of the activities we did to go along with the book. There are only 2 of the activities not included in this document. The first is the Dursley Family portrait activity (students drew a family portrait based on the descriptions of the characters in the book) and the second is the Bertie Bott's every flavor bean dichotomy activity, I basically found this online and it was probably their favorite just search "jelly bean dichotomy activity", and get the fun jelly beans that taste like grass and skunk and all those other nasty things (as well as a lot of nice flavors).
