Summary: Thirteen-year old Brian Robeson is flying in a private plane to spend the summer with his father when he is involved in a plane crash in the Canadian Wilderness. The pilot dies and it is up to Brian to use all his wits and courage to survive until he can be rescued. Throughout his wilderness ordeal , Brian carries “The Secret” with him. When he is eventually rescued and returns to his former life, Brian finds that he is forever changed.
