This project allows students to analyse the story of "Hatchet" by Gary Paulsen. Using the letters from the name "Hatchet" students will use writing and illustrations to answer questions, explain the plot, add an expanded ending and more! This can be completed as an after reading project and used as an alternative assessment of each student's understanding of the story.
