Product Description
Got the winter blahs? Jazz up your library media center lessons with this dramatic play activity! This lesson uses a picture book to introduce students to several famous historical figures, such as Abraham Lincoln and Johnny Appleseed. The book, Do You Have a Hat? by Eileen Spinelli, uses repetition to hook students into the content.

The accompanying dramatic play activity allows students to express creativity while becoming engaged in learning about famous people. The lesson may be used as a springboard for introducing students to the biography section of the library media center. This lesson can be used as a transition into a biography research unit for President's Day or African-American history month or can be used as a stand-alone lesson.

Please leave any feedback or questions about the product. I would love to hear from you!
~Thanks, Jennifer
