"Hatshepsut Queen Pharaoah" is a nonfiction text and lesson plan about the female Egyptian Pharaoh of the Eighteenth Dynasty. She claimed herself to be divinely born and declared herself pharaoh. She ruled for 22 years peacefully. Students will learn about how her actions affected the kingdom of Egypt. (Text included)
