This is a fun way students can study about fact families ranging from 6-10 or use the blank sheet to study larger numbers. I have listed 2 ways this can be used, but I am already thinking of many more.
1. Students can be given a booklet of haunted houses with the whole predetermined. They can then use a dice to discover a fact family of their own.
2. Students can roll a dice twice to find the two smallest members (parts) of the family. They then add the parts together to find the head of the house (the whole). Once they have all family members, students should record both the addition and subtraction number sentences.
As always, let me know if you need something personalized. I would also love any and all feedback!!
