Description
Keep the spooky in Halloween while strengthening literacy skills with my Haunted House Literacy Centers. Students will work on a haunted house template, and add to their creation at six reading response stations. Students can use glow-in-the dark paint, markers, and crayons to create their haunted house while practicing who, what, where, when, why, and how questions.
Not only will your students practice key literacy skills while celebrating Halloween, but they will have a completed art project to show off in your classroom and at home!
The 6 centers that come with this product are designed for 2nd grade (CCSS.RL.2.1), asking students to answer "Who, what, where, when, why, and how" questions in response to text.

This resource was very engaging for my second graders. They loved completing the project and we used it kind of as a "book report". So fun! - Kari K.
