This sorting activity is a great way to practice with students who have errors in their use of have and had.
The activity includes:
-two sorting mats
-20 printed tiles for each target
-12 blank tiles for you to write in your own
-a sentence worksheet for students to create sentences containing the sorted tiles and have/had targets
Tiles include both pronouns as well as both common and proper nouns.
You can simply have the students sort the tiles onto the right boards: "the school".....has; "John and Sarah".....have.
OR, for an extra challenge, have the students complete the sentences as they sort: "the school".....has......a roof; "John and Sarah".....have.....too much homework.
