Twenty multiple choice questions allow students to practice Context Clues using nonsense words. Of course without context, these words are meaningless so students must refer to the passage for clues. Each slide presents 2 questions; the first asks for the meaning of the targeted nonsense word, the second asks for the context clue. The questions are worded in a number of different ways. This PowerPoint can be presented as a whole group activity (preferred) or as an assessment / works great as a 'reading camp' activity.
