Head lice is a difficult topic to bring up in the classroom with students or parents. This is why I have designed a unit that includes a variety of information and activities about head lice that will help educate students about how lice is spread and how to prevent the spread of lice by approaching the topic in a non judgmental and scientific way. With this unit, students will learn the life cycle of a louse, the parts of a louse, how lice are spread, and a variety of other interesting facts about lice. I have also includes tips for holding an information session about lice for parents and I have included supporting posters and an information pamphlet for parents.
