I use these cards as a review game for my students in my unit on Atomic Structure. I print them on colored card stock, so that I can laminate, and I have a different color for each unit.
If you are unfamiliar, in the game headbandz, students place cards with vocabulary terms on their forehead and other students give them clues, so that they can guess the term.
I usually group my students in twos or threes and allow them to take a stack of about 5-7 cards at a time. I number the stacks, so that we can make sure that each group gets a turn with each stack. Then, I use a timer, giving them one minute to play (it's hard the first round or two, but students usually finish before the end of the time later in the game). I have them record their score (one point per card). As we get to the end, if the stack that a group needs is unavailable, I allow them to go back for their lowest scores.
