With this integrated lesson plan students will learn about Eight Healthy Habits such as hand washing, covering sneezes and coughs, and living a healthy lifestyle. Students will be able to explain why we need to practice healthy habits.
Students will participate in a fun science experiment to prove germs are everywhere. Students will also read an article about healthy habits. The article, in a brochure format, includes vocabulary, before reading task to activate prior knowledge, code the text key for close reading of the information, and comprehension questions based on the lesson objectives!
