This skit emphasizes the importance of selecting healthy foods and exercising daily. Class can be divided into small groups of four to practice and present the same skit. Each group will have their own flavor and creativity as actors, as well as a time to be an attentive audience for the other groups. In the skit, students will become aware of the nutrition facts written on the back of food products. They will understand why consuming too much sugar, sodium, and fat in the daily diet causes harm to the body. Students will be challenged to adjust and adapt to better eating habits and institute regular, consistent exercise. They will also be given the opportunity to create their own exercise steps in a fun, short and simple manner. Script is teacher friendly. Script was carefully written so either a male or female can select any role. Students can use own name to make it easier. Just choose a part and write all names before printing or beginning the skit.
