Description
In this unit, students will explore Grade 5 math concepts such as equivalent fractions, rounding up and down, determining unknown values and using greater than/less than/equal to symbols all while learning about food and balanced nutrition. This unit includes a Google Slides presentation complete with lessons from the math and health curriculums and worksheets to accompany the lessons. At the end of the unit, students can demonstrate their knowledge through the final assessment idea: planning and budgeting their own cafe.
