It's March! Are your students ready for a nutrition lesson? Get your students excited about learning the food groups with this colorful "Food!" bingo game.
This bingo game has 18 unique bingo cards included. Images of 16 healthy foods are are shown on the bingo cards. The same 16 foods are used in all the bingo cards. There is text is printed below the space where the image is to promote early literacy skills. However, it is not necessary for children to be able to read to play this game! The pictures clearly show the child what each food is. This game will work well for upper level preschool through second grade. It may also work well with English language learners.

In addition to the bingo cards, there is a calling card sheets, and cue cards. The cue cards give a brief description of each food. The cue cards could be used in place of the calling cards to provide a more challenging and language-rich approach to the game.

Grains: bread, cereal
Vegetables: cauliflower, broccoli, green beans, peas, lettuce
Fruits: tomato, grapes, cantaloupe
Protein: nuts, turkey, fish
Dairy: yogurt, ice cream, cheese
