This assessment is used at the end of a Nutrition Unit.
Students will be asked to assess their own personal eating habits, discuss healthy eating habits, how eating habits impact all areas of health, and factors that influence food choices.
Students will then be asked to view a menu and pick 3 possible food choices. They will apply the decision-making process, look at the advantages and disadvantages for each option, and make/defend their choice using relevant information from the unit.
Included is a grading rubric that has criteria for nutrition concepts, analyzing influences, and decision-making.
