Healthy Lifestyle Assessment Task, Healthy Eating and Exercise:
- A three part assessment task where students need to discuss healthy eating, exercise and barriers to living a healthy lifestyle.
Part A- Students create a healthy eating plan for one week, which contains scaffolding to help students brain storm some ideas for healthy food ideas.
Part B- Students create an exercise program using the guidelines for recommended exercise. Contains scaffolding where students list low, medium and high intensity exercise.
Part C- Students create a mind map about the benefits of exercise outdoors using a list of words to help build their mind map.
Part D- Students create a poster listing the barriers to exercise.
Part E- Challenge. Students create a budget by researching the costs associated with buying healthy foods as well as exercise equipment.
Includes a detailed marking rubric. A great final assessment after students have learnt about healthy eating and exercise guidelines.
