Here is a quick, DELICIOUSLY fun, and easy way to practice, review, modify, or just have some plain old fun working with fractions using Hershey Kisses Valentine's Day version!!
There are 15 bag cards (one blank one also included) that number off each bag. You will then divide up your Hershey Kisses however you'd like in the baggies to represent fractions of each color. I left out some colors in the bags too. I used baggies for this which worked perfectly.
I spread the bags around my small group area. After introducing the activity and doing one bag as an example using the recording sheets that are included, I let them go around with a partner to the different bags. This gave me time to really see how the kids were grasping fractions.
They LOVED it!!!
I hope you and your students have a great time practicing fractions with this delicious activity! Maybe they'll even get to taste a fraction of a collection?!? :)
