Your students will love playing Hearts Roll and Read. This February tool allows students to practice CCSS aligned reading and math skills simultaneously. This Valentine themed file contains 6 color coded game boards so that 6 students can practice reading sight words at once. Then they can trade cards for more sight word fun! All students need to do is roll the dice, read the corresponding word and then cover it on their game board with a heart card. When one column on their board is full, then that is the word that wins! This is a fun way to build fluency and sight word skills! Plus the game is different every time you play! Two take home game boards are included to encourage sight word practice at home. Some of the words included in the game boards are: one, two. three, four, five, six, are, they, you, from, do, with, here. go, of. NOTE:This game can also be purchased as part of the Hearts and Teddy Bears Kindergarten Common Core Kit which contains 6 different language and math games. Great center game for a Valentine Party Day too!
