Heat travels in many ways. Well, actually only three ways: conduction, convection, and radiation. After you've done your teaching and they've done their learning, use this literacy activity to see how well they really understand how heat moves.

Students are presented with 12 pictures of heat transferring, and must use a complete sentence to describe each. On the front, students are provided a sentence starter, but on the back they are on their own! Use this for differentiation as needed.

Included is the 2-page student worksheet and answer key. Could be used for classwork or homework after students have learned about heat transfer.
