Product Description
This is to be used with a unit on heat and temperature. After learning about insulators and conductors, students will use teacher given materials to create their own "cooler." Students will answer pre-lab questions and fill in a chart as to whether each of the 10 given items is a conductor or insulator. Students will then build their own cooler using as many or as little amount of given objects as they choose in their group. Students will then be given a ziploc bag of ice to place into the cooler overnight and will check on the ice the following day. Based on their results, students will answer 5 comprehension questions.
