I use these paper doll cutouts after the children have learned a new letter and practiced forming it with scarves, boas, and their bodies. When assembled with paper fasteners, these paper dolls have movable legs, arms, and bodies. Children have a wonderful time manipulating the dolls into the shapes of the Aleph Bet letters. Great hands-on activity for learning the letters.
Classroom version: Print out a copy onto 11x17 cardstock. laminate. Cut out and assemble with paper fasteners. Show how to use them at circle time.
Student version: Print out on 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock. Let children color black and white version, teacher cuts and assembles. (May be too detailed for children to cut out). Children take them home to play with.
Also good for bulletin boards.
