This lesson is part of my Beginning of the Year Experiments Bundle 1
that contains three experiments at a reduced price.
Are you looking for a fun and easy experiment to do with your students? If so, this is the lesson for you! In this experiment, the students test which type of paper has an affect on the time it takes the helicopter to hit the ground. The students work their way through the scientific method. This experiment is a good lead into a more open ended inquiry where the students can design their own experiment using the helicopters.
I have used this experiment in my own classroom many times and the students were engaged.
Included in this digital download:

2) Helicopter Experiment Lab Sheet
3) Helicopter Experiment Notebook Lab Sheet
4) Helicopter Experiment Question-Use this poster on a bulletin board to show off the students work!
