I created this product for my fifth grade students who were still struggling with multiplication fact memorization. This is an easy way to reinforce fact fluency all day long, without stealing from instructional time set aside for other math skills. Copy each of these "name tags" onto cardstock and laminate for durability. I copied each set onto a different color of cardstock (Example: Multiples of 2 - red, Multiples of 3 - green, etc.) Punch two holes in the top, attach yarn/string to make a nametag that can hang around students' necks. There are 21 multiplication facts in each set (I repeated the more challenging facts in each set). There are 10 total sets in this bundle (multiples of 2-12).
In my class, we began by celebrating "2s" day. Each student was given a nametag and I instructed the students that they could not use any students' real names, ONLY the product of the multiplication fact hanging around their neck! I also called students only by their product! Depending on your students' mastery, you may want to keep the nametags for several days, or even for an entire week. After you have cycled through all the sets of multiples, try mixing up the facts for a few days!
