Product Description
It is so important that children understand why they need to wear helmets. Here is a fun and memorable way for your students to understand the benefits of wearing head protection. Children will connect the damage to the shell of the egg to that of their own head, if in similar circumstances and come to the conclusion that helmets are a necessary safety measure.

You will need a hard-boiled egg for each group and a supply of recycled (scrap) materials for them to make a protective cover for their egg. Suggestions for these materials can include:- polystyrene cups, paper, felt, sticky tape, bubble wrap, newspaper and masking tape.

Students will use their own recorded results to explain why helmets are important, so there is not an answers page included.
