PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

After completing research about medieval knights, students complete this fun project. (I highly recommend using Don Nardo's book entitled "Medieval Knights and Chivalry," although students can also use their textbook or other resources for research.) For this project, students take on the role of a medieval scribe that has been recently assigned to create a Help Wanted Ad to find qualified people to become knights. The product includes a brief introduction explaining the activity, a list and explanation of requirements and a rubric. This activity really helps history come alive for students! It also helps students develop the skill of using historical evidence in their writing, along with incorporating their creative touches.
