This product supplies you with a teacher's copy of a color identification story that can be used as an emergent reader packet.
You are supplied with:
2 versions of teacher/classroom story copies
(one with the color names written in, and one with blank penmanship lines instead)
1 version of the student copy to be printed in color or black/white.
The penmanship teacher copy could be used with a dry-erase marker after laminating the copy to allow for the creation of different lessons and accommodations.
To use this emergent reader packet, create either the first 22 page set or second 22 page set as the teacher’s copy of the book.
You could create and use both for different levels of students.
Then print the last 11 pages as the emergent reader text for the students. You could print it in grayscale or black and white if you expect the students to write the colors of the animals into the text while you are reading the story. OR you could print the student copies in color to allow them to better associate the color with the color name.
