Recently Revised: "Henry and Beezus" is an enjoyable book for children. Henry has a knack for getting in trouble without even trying (like Junie B. Jones). Children will be amused by his mishaps and adventures. "Henry and Beezus" is a good read-aloud for younger children (Kinders -2nd grade) and a good read-alone for 3rd graders up who are ready for a longer book. This unit contains 10 review questions -- some of which allow the child to reflect on the story and what they would do if they were in the story, a review sequencing activity, and a vocabulary activity. The unit includes 4 student pages and 4 answer key pages and could be taught in about 1 week allowing time each day to read the book.
