Description

This book companion includes a variety of activities to keep students engaged in learning all about the garbage barge. Students will identify examples of how Jonah Winter PERSUADES, INFORMS, and ENTERTAINS his readers with the story Here Comes the Garbage Barge and will write a paragraph about how the illustrations by Red Nose Studio enhance the story. In addition, students will identify the main idea, topics, and at least one theme of the story.
