Heritage Speakers Unit: Cultura por todo el mundo hispanohablante

Google Drive™ folder

Description
¿Quieren aprender sus estudiantes sobre todos los países hispanohablantes?
This unit is designed for heritage speaker students or advanced learners of Spanish because the student materials and videos are in Spanish.
How to use this resource:
Students take notes, watch the embedded videos and take the quiz on each country.
Learning Objective:
The overall learning objective for this unit is for students to be exposed
to the diverse cultural products and practices throughout the Spanishspeaking
word. Most heritage students are very knowledgeable about
their own family heritage and culture, but do not have much exposure
to the rest of the Spanish-speaking world.
In this unit, students will learn geography, flags, capitals, and popular
cultural components and people for all 21 Spanish-speaking countries.
There are videos embedded into each slideshow that will transport
students to that country. They will see aerial footage of the landscape
and cities, watch cultural dances, and even learn how to cook authentic
recipes.
