Product Description
Students sit back to back with their graphic organizers. One student has form A and the other student has form B. Students ask questions such as "Why was _____a heroine?" What was an interesting fact about _______? in order to complete their graphic organizers. The categories are: heroine, "known as", why she is a heroine, and interesting fact. People include: Abigail Adams, Betsy Ross, Sybil Ludington, Molly Hays McCauley, Mary Lindley Murray, Deborah Sampson, Prudence Wright, Lydia, Darragh, Margaret Corbin, and Emily Geiger. This is a good way for students to practice questioning skills and learn how women influenced the American Revolution. My kids really enjoyed this activity!
