This document is intended to go along with an overview of the Hero’s Journey in class. There are many great resources and presentations available to teach the Hero’s Journey to your students. I have used this worksheet with a resource from Laura Randazzo in the past. This is a note sheet for students to use during such a lecture.
I have included two versions of the chart here. The first includes all of the parts clearly labeled. The second have blanks if you would like your students to fill in the blanks as they learn. I like to print this on bright paper and have students put this at the front of their binder during our Harry Potter unit so that they can reference it throughout the unit.
Please note, this resource is designed specifically for a 6th grade English Language Arts class, but could easily be used from upper elementary school into high school. Also note, that this chart focuses on 10 steps of the Hero’s Journey, while other resources may break down the journey further into 12 or even 15 steps.
I hope you enjoy this product. Please feel free to leave a review and follow my store for more resources.
