This one page worksheet is about homogenized milk. Students answer three questions about heterogeneous and homogeneous mixtures before reading about the homogenization process in milk. After reading the paragraph, students answer the remaining two questions on the worksheet. Students should have a basic understanding of the differences between heterogeneous and homogeneous mixtures. They should also know what makes mixtures different from elements and compounds.
Two reading levels are included. One reading level is 8.6 and the other is 6.6 on the Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level. The questions and answers are the same for both reading levels. An answer key and extension ideas are included in this resource. Click on PREVIEW to learn more.
You can also get this resource as a part of the Heterogeneous and Homogeneous Mixtures PACKAGE
which comes with interactive notebook pages, a PowerPoint, a card sorting activity, worksheets, and an exit ticket.
