This is a folder with templates for Hexagonal Thinking activities. Included in this Google Folder are two Google Slides templates - one portrait and one landscape - along with two printable Google Docs with hexagon cutouts in large and small print.
Both Google Slides templates include two versions of the activity. One where the teacher leads more of the activity with providing terms and the hexagonal structure. The other is a student-led version. This version allows students to develop their own terms and place, or design, the hexagonal structure that matches their thinking. Each version comes with directions to help facilitate this activity.
The hexagonal thinking strategy is an opportunity for students to work collaboratively, or independently, to visually demonstrate thinking and make connections among different vocabulary, thoughts, ideas, people, and places.
