This is a memoir, written as a graphic novel, by Jarrett J. Krosoczka. This is a true,
heartfelt story about Jarrett’s life as a young child through his teenage years. His
mother was arrested for stealing when Jarrett was young. When Jarrett’s
grandparents took over his guardianship, Jarrett was told later that his mother
was a drug addict. He did not know his father until near the end of the story.
