Description

Hi Ho!!!!!! It's time to go back to school and time to review 1st grade math concepts. This is one of the first of a series of monthly math centers I am creating for my classroom and sharing with you!!

There are 16 math centers included in this pack. These centers are Common Core Aligned and are mostly a review of 1st grade skills. Some of the centers are aligned to 2nd grade standards, but are easy enough for your 2nd graders to work on at the beginning of the year without much instruction.

Centers:
Double Up! (1.OA.6)
Fact Family Flash (1.OA.3, 1.OA.6)
Tardy Bell Blues (1.MD.3)
What's the Number (1.NBT.2)
Stack 'em Up! (1.OA.8)
Same Sum? (1.OA.7)
Super Smart Subtraction (1.OA.9)
Over & Under (1.NBT.5)
Pencil Problems (1.OA.1)
Less or Greater? (1.NBT.3)
Base 10 Adding(1.NBT.4)
Where are the Numbers? (1.NBT.1)
Simon Says? (2.NBT.1, 2.NBT.2)
Where's the Addend? (2.NBT.5)
Skip to my Lou, My Darlin'! (2.NBT.2)
Picking Out Quantities (2.NBT.4)

Most centers have the option of having students complete 8 or 12 problems. At the beginning of the year, I usually choose to do 8 to start with since my kiddos are getting used to doing the math centers and adjusting to our math routine. As we move through the year, they can do 12 more easily because they know what is expected.

Answer keys for almost all activities are included.
