ESL students, young learners and special education students will enjoy writing about animals in winter in these fun foldable hibernating animals themed mini books
. They are easy to assemble since there is no need to cut and staple! Simply fold the papers and your students have their own hibernating animals
themed mini books. They are perfect for pre-k, kindergarten, ESL and special needs students and can be used in whole group and small group instruction as well as in literacy centers.
These mini books are differentiated
with three books for each title. The first mini book includes the vocabulary
word and picture which the students can color. This is great for beginning English Language Learners
as an introduction to vocabulary, as well as for young learners who have not yet developed the fine motor skills for writing words. The second mini book includes a picture with a sentence where the students fill in the vocabulary word that goes with the picture. The second mini book can be used side by side with the first mini book, helping to guide the students to choose the correct vocabulary word. The third mini book allows the students to complete and illustrate a sentence. This allows for the more advanced students to write original words that weren't included in the first two mini books.
Each of the mini books are available in color and black line!
