Description
The Hibernation of animals during the cold months of Winter is a fascinating topic for many people, especially youngsters. Prepare to explore and answer a LOT of questions: Who, What, When, Where, Why & How.
Preparing for the Hibernation Landscape activity will promote many discussions and encourage discoveries. You may want to use the Snowscape Painting from the Snow unit as a background for tucking in the Animal Images.
After the hibernating animals have been snuggled into their spots, it’s time to Stuff A Pita. Gather the suggested ingredients from the Lesson Plan and remind your learners of the How-To-Make steps, so they will be able to complete the Recipe Cards. Have your chefs read & review before completing the How To Stuff A Pita Pocket graphic organizer. Then, edit and write it onto the blank, lined How-To Writing Template.
