This powerpoint teaches students about drawings within drawings and hidden drawings: optical illusions. It allows students a chance to stretch their creativity and imaginations. It also drastically challenges their abilities (depending on level) because they need to be so accurate in their recreations.
The slide discusses drawings within drawings, hidden drawings, and optical illusions. It has numerous examples of all, and (depending on you) up to 15 hours of teaching! It would be easy to add a few additional slides about the history of optical illusions. Producers used to use them as advertisements to attract children to their products.
Students are able to practice drawing easy and hard recreations. They are also asked to complete a final project at the end.
I did not include a rubric, because I mark students at their ability level. If a student worked hard and accepted feedback, they will receive a 3 or full marks.
