Hide and Seek sight words is a great way for students to practice their sight words! Choose 12-15 sight words that your students are working on, and place in a pocket chart. Make sure your students aren't peeking as you hide one of the picture cards behind a sight word card. Students take turns picking a sight word card to read, then they will pull the sight word card out of the pocket chart to see if the hidden picture card is behind. Play continues until someone finds the picture card! You can refill the pocket chart with other words or mix up the same cards and play again.
The cards are generic as well, so you can use them in other ways such as, flash cards, read the room activities, say and write, etc.
