This is a fun game to help practice those 'tricky' teen numbers. Students will hide a monster behind either the teen number or a base ten representation of a teen number. He or she will then give the other students clues to where the monster is hidden. For example: "The monster is hidden behind the number that comes after 15." or "The monster is hidden behind the number that has one group of ten and 4 extra ones." Your students will have fun building and practicing number sense, teen numbers, base ten representations of teen numbers, place value, and logic. The game can be played whole class, small group, or as an intervention group. It can even be used as a math center as well. This product is proudly brought to you by Learning by Christina.
