High Frequency Cube Roll
My students may choose to do this during our word work rotation. I usually have my students to do this with pencils. However, on occasion I let them use colored pencils, gel pens, markers, or crayons.
Have students roll the cube, whatever word is at the top they write in the correct box.
Since this activity focuses on sight words, I have my students fill at least two columns with the words. When two of the columns have been filled to the top, they may stop.
Print the following cube on cardstock. I laminate and then attach small pieces of Velcro for flat storage.
On the back of their paperwork, I have them write a sentence using each of the words.
