These words could be used on your word wall or used in a literacy center. My students use these cards to practice their HFW spelling. They pick a card and draw the boxes that represent the shape of the letters in the word. Using mini-whiteboards, their partners takes turns guessing which letters they could be using their knowledge of letter shapes, blends and digraphs. This is a fantastic game to improve spelling, phonics, handwriting and sight word recognition as well as supports visual learners in the classroom.
