Product Description
This is a short story with embedded anchoring activities I created for my middle school students. The story relays the adventures of Ferris Wheeler, an eighth grade student. The mystery can be used by itself or as the first part of other Ferris stories to come. The activities, including mapmaking, predicting, observations and inferences, making a model, a cryptogram, and a math puzzle will help your students sharpen their problem solving skills and give them an enjoyable activity to work on when they have spare time during their day. My students love the adventure and humor of Ferris and look forward to each new story.
