This simple, engaging chart reminds students of the basic steps for writing a nonfiction paragraph. I use this when teaching paragraph structure for short responses and essays. The visuals of familiar characters along with the Playstation font help to engage students, and the clean layout and simplistic wording increases the likelihood that students will refer back to the chart after you've modeled these skills. I print a poster-sized version for my classroom wall, and regular copies for my students' folders.
