For some of my students this was a very difficult concept to understand - Judicial scrutiny and the different levels - strict, intermediate, and rational basis.
But I have a SUPER LESSON that I want to share with you that helped my students with these concepts.
This lesson breaks down the different levels of scrutiny for students to understand.
Students will understand the different levels of scrutiny and learn about Supreme Court cases that used them.
Their understanding will be check with a short worksheet.
Then, students will work in small groups or individually, thinking critically about court cases and what level of scrutiny they might meet. This will be done with task cards.
