The High-Use Common Core Vocabulary Toolkit was created to help my English language learners and at-risk students fill a gap in vocabulary. We often assume that many of our students know what basic academic vocabulary words mean. Often without explicitly teaching these words, they trip up our students on assignments and assessments.
This product was created to teach some of these high-use words in a quick and easy to use format. As with any vocabulary instruction, be sure that students have ample opportunities to use the new vocabulary words in class for the entire week before introducing another word.
