It is essential that the teaching of ELA incorporates the use of higher level thinking skills. One model of thinking skills is Bloom's Taxonomy which focuses on six levels of practice:

Knowledge – Recall or locate information
Comprehension – Understand learned facts
Application – Apply what has been learned to new situations
Analysis – “Take apart” information to examine different parts
Synthesis – Create or invent something; bring together more than one idea
Evaluation – Consider evidence to support conclusions

There are 88 cards included! These cards are used during and after read alouds to promote higher level thing. Covers to each level are included. Laminate and put on a ring for easy use in the classroom.
Each card includes the level.
